Roofing Warranties

GAF Asphalt Shingle Warranties

As a GAF-Certified Contractor, we are authorized to offer enhanced roofing warranties that go far beyond standard industry coverage. When you install GAF Lifetime Shingles and qualifying GAF accessories, you automatically receive a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

We also offer GAF’s premium protection plans:

  • System Plus, Silver Pledge™, & Golden Pledge® Warranties: These represent GAF’s ultimate protection, backed directly by the manufacturer.
  • Up to 50 Years of Non-Prorated Coverage: These enhanced warranties cover manufacturing defects for up to 50 years without diminishing in value.
  • Extended Workmanship Coverage: The Golden Pledge® warranty includes 25 years of workmanship coverage backed directly by GAF, supplementing our own 5-year guarantee.
  • Tear-Off & Disposal Coverage: Enhanced plans cover the costs associated with tearing off the old roof and disposing of materials, should a warranted replacement be necessary.

 

EDCO Metal Roofing Warranties

A metal roof is designed to be a permanent solution. We install EDCO metal roofing systems, which carry a “lifetime” warranty that truly means a lifetime.

  • Lifetime Non-Prorated Limited Warranty: Covers materials and labor against manufacturing defects and does not decrease in value over time.
  • Lifetime Hail & Impact Protection: Your roof is warranted against perforation from hail or impact.
  • 30-Year Fade Protection: The premium paint finish is guaranteed against significant fading for 30 years.
  • Transferable: This powerful warranty can be transferred to the next homeowner, adding measurable value if you decide to sell.
Siding Warranties

CertainTeed Vinyl Siding (Including Monogram™)

We proudly install CertainTeed vinyl siding, including the premium Monogram® line, known for its durability and extensive color palette. It is backed by one of the strongest warranties in the industry.

  • Lifetime Limited Warranty: CertainTeed warrants its vinyl siding against manufacturing defects for as long as the original homeowner owns and lives in the home.

     

  • 100% Non-Prorated Coverage (Original Owner): For the original homeowner, CertainTeed covers 100% of the material and labor costs for any warranted claims.
  • PermaColor™ Lifetime Fade Protection: This guarantees that your siding will not excessively fade beyond normal weathering, ensuring the color you chose remains vibrant. Note: Fade protection coverage is not transferable.
  • Hail Damage Warranty: The siding is also warranted to withstand the impact of hail.
  • Transferable Coverage: If you sell your home, the warranty (excluding fade protection) can be transferred to the next owner. Upon transfer, it converts to a 50-year prorated warranty, measured from the original date of installation.

A Note on Siding Installation: CertainTeed warranties explicitly exclude damage caused by improper installation (such as incorrect nailing or overlapping) or heat distortion (such as melting caused by reflections from windows or other objects). This is why choosing a certified installer is critical. Heritage Home Exteriors ensures strict adherence to CertainTeed’s exacting written instructions, maximizing your product performance and protecting your warranty coverage.

Window & Door Warranties

Provia Windows (Endure™ & Aspect™)

Provia’s “professional-class” windows are covered by a comprehensive Lifetime Limited Transferable Warranty.

  • Lifetime Coverage on Vinyl: Protects against cracking, peeling, warping, or blistering of the vinyl components.

  • Lifetime Coverage on Hardware: All moving parts, such as locks and balances, are covered for life.

  • Lifetime Coverage on Glass: The insulated glass seal is warranted against failure.

  • 15-Year Paint Finish Warranty: The factory-applied exterior paint finish is guaranteed for 15 years.

  • Transferable: This warranty can be transferred one time to a subsequent homeowner.

 

Viwinco Windows (Cambridge® & Edgemont®)

Viwinco windows are backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty on all vinyl, hardware, and insulated glass components.

  • Exclusive Cambridge® Feature: The premier Cambridge® series includes a Lifetime Accidental Glass Breakage Warranty. Whether it’s a stray baseball or a rock from the lawnmower, if the glass breaks for any reason, Viwinco will provide a replacement sealed glass unit at no charge.

  • Transferable: The Viwinco warranty can be transferred to a second owner as a 20-year warranty from the date of manufacture.

 

Entry Doors (Provia & Therma-Tru)

Both Provia and Therma-Tru provide comprehensive Lifetime Limited Warranties on their premium fiberglass and steel door systems, protecting against delamination, warping, and splitting.

  • Provia Finish Warranty: Provia’s top-tier Embarq® and Signet® fiberglass doors also include a 15-Year Finish Warranty on their factory-applied stains and paints.
